OverView
Following the hardback success of Ultra Processed People, Cornerstone required a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing infrastructure to drive national momentum for the paperback launch and industry awards push. Operating as an external artworking engine, Epigraph Studio adapted the book's iconic visual identity across environmental transit displays, high-bitrate animated teaser videos, digital ad suites, bookstore POS displays, and press promos—culminating in the design of the complete presentation layout for the book's successful Nibbies award submission.
The Challenge
Scaling a high-profile publishing campaign across physical, environmental, and digital formats presents severe spatial and technical constraints. Transforming a compact book jacket graphic into multi-story outdoor billboards, 9:16 vertical social animations, and dense print trade brochures requires re-architecting visual hierarchy rather than simple cropping. Furthermore, strict print resolution thresholds for large-format OOH displays, precise motion frame rates, and tight publisher press windows demanded zero room for error or visual drift.
The Solution
We created a modular grid system that preserved the book’s stark, high-impact typographic hierarchy across every aspect ratio. We built motion graphic templates for social promos and digital ad suites, preflighted OOH billboard files with exact substrate color profile mapping, and prepared press-ready mechanicals for paperback point-of-sale displays. For the Nibbies submission, we structured a clean, editorial layout deck that synthesized campaign metrics, media coverage, and asset execution into an award-winning entry.
The Result
On time, we successfully delivered a multi-format master asset suite on schedule to Penguin Random House and media networks with zero press re-runs or technical delays. The campaign powered Ultra Processed People to Sunday Times bestseller status and industry acclaim—culminating in a prestigious Nibbies award win and proving the power of disciplined, start-to-finish brand implementation in commercial publishing.
